Fort Wayne nonprofit to connect interpreters with service providers

A new nonprofit has been launched with a focus on advancing language access and equity in northeast Indiana.

The Language Access Lab Inc. is a Petra Solutions LLC initiative that is partially supported by grants from the Allen County Department of Health and the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation.

The lab will train interpreters, support health care and social services, offer language proficiency testing and train administrators, the nonprofit said this week in a news release.
